In Vinyasa Class the practice coordinate movement with breath to flow from one pose to the next. Breathing comes in slow and deep breath within each of the movements. In this workshop, we give tips and trick on how to engage the breathing and poses, benefits of the poses, break down on technique and the use of the muscle on each poses. This workshop practice focuses on Sun Salutation A and Sun Salutation B, strengthening muscle and combining breathing and movements.

When we faced with stress situation, our body will automatically respond in flight or fight mode. Or if the stress is too much, sometimes the body respond with freeze mode. In this trauma situation, the body remembers the most. Each trauma situation carries feelings within each memories, and those feelings stays in the body. What the mind has forgotten, the body remembers long after.

Healing Breath Semi-Private Class is three to four hours of breath work session, maximum 4 participants. With less participants, our facilitators will be able to direct their attention to each participants deeper throughout the practice, this way the participants can be more focus on their own practice and allow the release to happen. The agenda of the Healing Breath Semi-Private Class include:

  • Self introduction & intention setting, introduction about breathing, core of the problem, benefits, expectation, breathing techniques and breathing practice (75 minutes)
  • Toilet break (10 minutes)
  • Breath work and healing (70 minutes)
  • Awakening, sharing, and closing (45 minutes)
  • Nourishment and free time

Qi Gong & Yin Yoga for Elderly & Public

PROGRAM NAME : QI GONG & YIN YOGA FOR ELDERLY & PUBLIC

The special class for Qi Gong & Yin Yoga is perfect for elderly and public to start a slow pace movements in yoga asana practice. Qi Gong combines slow deep breathing and slow pace movements to practice focus and concentration, while strengthening and toning the muscle. Yin Yoga asana practice aim for deep stretch and fascia unwinding for a deeper opening, holding the pose for about 3-5 minutes. It is a perfect combination for a start!

Healing Breath Program

Healing Breath practice based on the breathing itself. On each of the session we combine energetic healing and spiritual act from our teachers.

On three hours of Healing Breath Open Class, our Balinese priest performs a ritual to cleanse the area and create an energetic “protection guard line” to ensure our space is saved for the practice. The priest then asks for permission and protection from all ancestor of the land (is Balinese tradition/ ritual) to support our practice and hold space for us, make us feel save. After that, we give explanation and introduction about the breathing exercise. Details of what is the breathing about, what is trauma, what is emotional release, why we have trauma, what is the benefit of the breathing exercise enclosed by intention setting by each of the participants. The energetic healing during the class allows each of the participants to experience their own feelings and get through their powerful healing process.

The Healing Breath Open Class is one of the most powerful tools to tap in to our feelings which sometimes is not easy for us. Why do we need to understand our feelings?

Breathing is the door way to access both of your conscious and unconscious mind. The practice of conscious breathing allows us to respond calmly and sensibly in the face of challenge, we learn to deal with whatever arises in life without denial and panic. All healing is about returning to our normal state, and breathing practice is a self respond method to return to our natural state. More benefits here.

Regular Schedule March 2017

Time flies!

We are excited to welcome the peaceful month of March 2017. Not much changed on our daily programs. Daily classes still full with various atmosphere of asana classes.

Special class of QI GONG well served on Sunday, 5th March starts at 7am. HEALING BREATH comes twice this month on 11th and 25th March 2017 at 1pm. Limited space available for those who listen to the calling!

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
The shala will be closed on 17-19 March for a special TTC program, also will be closed again on 27-29 March for the celebration of the Day of Silence.
